This is the TATC I made for Dianne. In 1988 I took my mother and 11 year old son, Adam on a trip to Cancun on the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. We took a day trip to Chichen Itza to explore the ancient Mayan ruins and climb the "Castillo" or Temple of Kukulcan. Inside the temple there is an inner temple where a throne in the shape of a jade encrusted red leopard sat. Amazing!This trip is not only memorable because of the pyramid and fun beach time but because we got caught in hurricane Gilbert and the story about how we made it back home would fill a book!
